Chris Middleton has volunteered at Radio Tyneside since 2016, and works as an independent journalist and writer based in the North East of England.

His writing and commentary have featured in The Telegraph, The Critic, and other national news outlets, and he has appeared on TalkTV, LBC and GB News.

Chris is also the creator of Freezing This Christmas, the satirical charity single that raised over £80,000 to support the elderly during the winter of 2024/25.
