We received a 'Highly Commended' award in the Christian Broadcasting Council's Annual Media Awards. It was for our Christmas Day Carol Service which we recorded at the Milbourne Methodist Chapel in Northumberland.

Produced by Radio Tyneside, it was syndicated to 18 Hospital Radio Stations on Christmas Day.

The judges said: “An excellent concept linking 18 Hospital Radio Stations across the UK. A challenging undertaking but one which must have brought much joy to those in hospital at Christmas."
